Aaron was ten when he first picked up a guitar.  It was love at first strum.  Before long, Aaron was studying guitar with renowned studio musician Joe Cinderella.   Inevitably, he landed in Boston at Berklee College of Music.  Within a year, Aaron was touring with Salsoul recording artist Carol Williams.  He went on to study with jazz legends John Scofield and Tom Harrell.

In 1981, Aaron left music to join the Peace Corps, spending two years in coastal Ecuador.  Upon his return to the states, Aaron entered law school and then worked as a prosecutor, defense attorney and civil litigator.

In 2001, Aaron returned to music—but this time as a songwriter and producer; and in 2003 his new role as writer bore fruit.  His jazz/pop album Nadja was picked up by Grandstand Records, and a remix of its single "It's Gonna Take Time" made it to the top twenty on the Billboard dance chart.  Aaron’s music was also featured on the soap opera All My Children.   Aaron is an associate producer of the award-winning musical Ernest Shackleton Loves Me.

When not composing songs, Aaron can be found opining on culture and politics in writings that have appeared in The New York Times and The Jersey Journal. Since 2013, he has happily been combining his passion for music and writing in the development of his new musical, "Food Fighters."
